5/5 Stars! Just by swinging it you can feel it is a solid, sturdy blade. I almost cut my finger off handling that blade. The only complaint I have is that the sword isn't full tang, but I suppose you can't expect that from a $30 sword. We have currently held off wave after wave of Persian scum, and only a few of the swords have broken. i love this sword. Even came with a fairly sharp edge which needs only some basic finishing to clean up the edge. Channel the legendary warriors of the Spartan 300, Heat tempered steel blade is 25 1/2" long. It is a 1 handed sword so unless you are really strong or get a lot of practice do NOT swing this sword near anything that you want to keep, and be carefull where your legs are when you swing down. For those complaining about weighthit the gym. I wouldn't depend on it for home security. Very attractive.

Thank you True Swords! Came sharpened and pre oiled. Some handle parts seem to be plastic and are quite loose . It is nearly full tang through the hilt, but terminates in a rat tail tang which attaches the pommel with a nut and washer to the tang. It is truly a sword of outstanding beauty and for the price I am astounded by the results of this purchase. I just had to get it for the price! It's precisely how a sword should be. I removed the bottom guard and secured the handle with a bolt and nut combo and haven't had an issue since. This sword is amazing haha like just stunning. When I first opened my package and saw the replica of King Leonidis' sword, I knew it was the best thirty dollars I ever spent. Over all it was not a bad buy for the price, very sturdy, blade does not wiggle. I got the sword, and it is indeed very heavy and sturdy. i was expecting it to be, as i feel it is more of a showpiece anyway. My only real concern was that the guard was hollow. The blade has a small dent about the size of a nickle on the side about midway up but it doesn't appear to be damaged other than that. Keep up the good work on choosing products BUDK and Ill keep on coming back!! leaving that semantic aside, the weapon itself is wicked to look at, even more wicked to hold, definitely would not recommend for actual usage though, the handle is far to weak to be hacking at things, even if the blade is razor sharp. Simply pop off the top plate on the handle, shim the inside of the wooden handle, use some liquid glue to fill the void and reattach the top but add a lock washer. This is a very heavy sword and can actually be swung two handed unless you have really big hands. Fortunately, the handle is big enough that you can use two hands. great price, good looker it has a nice heavy blade, i tested the durability of the sword against a tree it took about 10 "wacks" then the handle shook a little bit loose, which brings me back to it being a good looker.
